Horse & Country TV’s ground-breaking new advertising initiative Stud Break is off to a flying start. Stud Break offers stallion owners a unique opportunity to harness the power of television and reach a broad and passionate audience. With 500,000 people tuning into H&C TV on Sky 280 each month and 50 peak time slots allocated to each advert over the February to May breeding season, Stud Break offers a sustained market presence.

Stud Break packages have already been bought by top names in British breeding, including Lynne Crowden of Woodlander Stud: “At a time when British breeding is on the up, H&C’s new venture offers the welcome opportunity to showcase the quality of stallions on offer here. As well as promoting one of our stallions individually in a Stud Break package, we have jumped at the opportunity to make an advert for Woodlander Stud. The breeding industry for Olympic disciplines is getting better and stronger every year.”

Others keen to take up H&C’s stud package include The Stallion Company’s Ken Rehill: "I consider Stud Break to be the most exciting way to advertise my stallions. I always look for different ways to increase business and this package offers excellent value. The Stud Break gives me an efficient way to get my stallions in front of breeders.”

Stud Break is not confined to stallions alone: H&C is offering all businesses relevant to the breeding industry the chance to capitalise on a targeted audience by advertising during Stud Break commercial breaks.

H&C will be filming at the BBSH Stallion Event at Hartpury College on 29 January and at Addington Manor on the weekend of 5 and 6 February for the Stallion Showcase GB, but is available to film elsewhere by prior arrangement. H&C will also accept pre-produced adverts, provided they are compliant and of broadcast quality, and offers a highly competitive advertising rate.
