Countryside Showjumps has signed an agreement  with the OTECC - Oliver Townend Eventers Challenge Championship - to become the events' jump sponsor to take effect immediately, and has already begun the process of designing a new set of all timber jumps for the 2010 OTECC season.

OTECC, which is the largest autumnal amateur eventers challenge, has seen over 10,000 riders participate since its inaugural season in 2007.  Simon Parker, the owner of OTECC says: "The shows have been immensely popular but we know that we must keep on making the shows better and more innovative.

Countryside Showjumps has a fantastic array of different style jumps and this versatility helps us design exciting courses.

"In addition, the jumps are all timber which gives a more authentic air to the show.  This year we are going more rustic and country oriented."

Lisa Ratcliffe, sales manager of Countryside Showjumps, says: "We had already been following the growth of the OTECC events and there is a natural alignment between the two brands; both either produce or use jumps from each riding discipline - showjumping, hunter trials and eventing.

"We will be supplying some of our unique jumps such as the XC System, which is a combination of height adjustable solid fences."

The sponsorship is initially a one-year rolling agreement  with Countryside Showjumps designing and building a range of jumps for the regional events and a different set for the finals.
