New Equine Science degree launched at Sparsholt College, Hampshire

Equine StudentsThis three year degree has been specifically designed for learners with a particular interest in the science behind equine management and performance. The course will run alongside the College’s hugely popular BSc (Hons) Equine Studies.

Sparsholt College is renowned for its Equine Centre which is home to over 70 horses. The Centre has been designed to provide modern teaching facilities which include an indoor arena, three outdoor arenas, horsewalker, grass rides and cross country schooling fences. There are also microbiology; environmental, analytical and dissection laboratories; modern learning spaces and integrated electronic learning technologies.

The Equine Centre at Sparsholt College has been included within London 2012's Pre-Olympic Games Training Camp Guide and was recently host to Monty Roberts who conducted a scientific study of his work there.
