This year’s Your Horse Live was a huge success, with many of the guests coming to visit the extremely popular riding simulator area sponsored by Protexin Equine Premium. Members of the Coaching Development Team, a renowned team of international riders instigated by the British Team Training Director, Yogi Breisner, were on hand for advice and were promoting a competition to win a complete day of training with the team, also sponsored by Protexin Equine Premium.

Your Horse Live took place on the 14^th and 15^th of November at Stoneleigh Park, with a number of demos and a vast selection of stands. Protexin Equine Premium’s sales and recognition increased from last year’s show, helped in no small part by the competition they hosted.

A number of Your Horse Live visitors polished their riding skills and picked up some new techniques on the three riding simulators. A dressage riding simulator allowed people to run through a dressage course while watching a screen, and a riding simulator let participants walk, trot and canter the ‘horse’ while receiving performance tips. The third horse jumping simulator let Your Horse Live participants experience the challenges of jumping while improving their riding technique and position.

Jonathan Nelson, Director of Protexin Equine, was pleased with the public’s reception to the Equine Premium simulator area. “We had a terrific time at Your Horse Live this year, visitors were keen to try out the simulators and benefit from the Coaching and Development Team’s instruction. Equine Premium sponsored the simulators and the Coaching and Development Team to make participants aware of the dangers in riding and to encourage safer riding. I think we did that this year, and it was a great bonus that everyone had fun in the process!”

At the end of Your Horse Live, two lucky winners were drawn for Protexin Equine Premium’s competition to win a day with the Coaching Development Team. The first winner, Emma Punt, is a chiropractor from Plumtree in Notts who competes at affiliated and unaffiliated pre-novice eventing.  Lorna Hamilton from Ashbourne in Derbyshire was the other winner. Lorna works for and fits Quantum Saddles and also competes at affiliated and unaffiliated pre-novice eventing.
