The conference will focus on Muscles Mechanics and Horses Inside Out Painted Horse
Movement including Core Stability, Muscular Imbalance,
Training and Biomechanics.

Dr Hilary Clayton PhD MRCVS, chairperson at the McPhail Equine Performance Centre at Michigan State University, Vet, Trainer, Dressage Rider and Equine Researcher

Andy Thomas MCSP, Chartered Physiotherapist and specialist in the field of musculo skeletal intervention to elite athletes in the equestrian world.

As a veterinarian and researcher, Dr. Clayton's studies have focused on sport horses, including dressage and jumping horses whilst Andrew’s main field of expertise lies in identifying rider problems and weaknesses. Last year he was the physiotherapist to the Equestrian Riders at the World Equestrian Games across Eventing, Endurance, Show Jumping, Carriage Driving, Reining, Vaulting and Dressage.

The theme running through the conference will be looking at muscles and ‘core stability’.

The two day conference, to be held at the Ramada Hotel and Arena UK near Grantham will enable riders and therapists to see how horse and rider can achieve optimum performance through understanding and control.
