Inspirational tutor and leading author Lynn Henry will be visiting the North West to demonstrate to horse lovers how to ‘Think Like A Pony’. The applied equine behaviour specialist will be helping owners and riders to form better relationships with their horse; an understanding that is essential for both adults and children.
Regarded as a leader in this industry, Lynn’s journey began when she changed career from a Biology teacher to bring up her four young children. It was when her children then wanted their own pony that Lynn began to look into the possible dangers and need for a total understanding and trust to be built between horse and rider.
Lynn began working with leaders in horsemanship and scientific approaches to training, to understand the signals that horses and ponies use to communicate with each other. From this she was able to teach her children to read their pony’s body language, and respond accordingly, allowing them to complete simple tasks safely without the use of force or anger and to have fun whilst doing so.
Lynn has dedicated a number of years to passing this vital information onto other professionals and horse lovers. She is the author of a top selling series of educational books on the subject, and to date has helped individuals from all over the world to think like a pony.
Lynn will be providing an un-missable opportunity, with a lecture and demonstration evening at the Welsh College of Horticulture Equine Arena (Northop campus) where she'll l be outlining key theories and demonstrating techniques.
