Buff Original Multi-functional HeadwearBuff is derived from the word bufanda which means scarf in Spanish. However, as well as acting as a scarf, the Buff also has many other ways in which it can be used. We had a lot of fun experimenting the different ways in which to wear it, and how it could be useful when we were riding or around the yard. The Buff comes in many different colours and designs and is seam-free so apparently, it will never fray or fall apart! It was very lightweight and was tiny when folded up, so we could put it in our pockets and carry it around until we wanted to use it.
At this time of year our horses are moulting all over the place, so we wore the Buff bandana style when grooming. This meant we didn't get any horsehair into our newly washed hair, as it was completely covered! It was so useful when mucking out as it stopped wood-shavings, dust, straw and hay from getting in our hair. As we're sure lots of other riders agree it's really annoying to have sweaty hair and a smelly hat after riding. Wearing the Buff balaclava style under out hats was fantastic for many reasons. The lack of seams made it extremely comfortable, and there were no pressure points to cause headaches. We even forgot that we were wearing them! Our necks were protected from the wind as the
