Shiatsu for your horse is a book designed to enhance the relationship between horse and human and to give you an insight into a complex but rewarding therapy treatment. You can take as little or as much from the book as you need - the beginning is quite easy to get into, but progresses to a more complicated level with in depth descriptions and techniques.
Although very specific to shiatsu, there are some really good diagrams of the muscular system and bones of the horse’s leg, which may help if studying these parts of the horse. The book went into some detail on behavioural signs, explaining that they can be reversed or change significantly in stressful situations.
I found this book to be quite hard going at times and it needs to be read in a quiet environment with full concentration. It would appeal to those wanting to learn more about shiatsu or to improve their
relationship with their horse.
